Professor Seeks $200 Million From Columbia University

A professor, fired from her position at Columbia University, has filed a lawsuit against her former employer. The lawsuit prays for $200 million in damages.

The professor was fired by Columbia for allegedly plagarizing the work of two of her students and a colleague. However, she claims the work was in fact her own.

Moreover, the professor alleges that the university covered up, destroyed, and ignored evidence that would have demonstrated the authenticity of her work. In her words, the university engaged in an "academic lynching," even going so far as to hang a noose outside her office.
